What began as an idea for an Irish Jig (or is it a Reel?) written on acoustic guitar eventually morphed into something much larger, and it's safe to say I lost complete control of the composition somewhere along the way. And fairly early on.

As an artist or producer, sometimes the best thing to do is stay out of the way...letting things move with autonomy in the moment, and ignoring the voice telling you that "you don't know where this is going--stop it now!". When things work out in a positive way, you find yourself in a special place where it all comes together, and realize that a conscience effort would not have produced the same work.

So....this is one of those tracks, aptly titled "Convergence". :-)
